Portfolio of Works

Most of my western pieces are produced from source material obtained on location in Texas, South Dakota, Arizona, and Colorado. I'm inspired by a romantic connection to our cowboy heritage. I stay true to the authentic dress and artifacts of specific times.

I have been blessed to travel to Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and other location where wildlife is abundant. Some wildlife source material has come from being in locations such as National Parks, Zoos, Wildlife refuges, as well as Wildlife casting agencies that train animals for photographers and motion pictures.

This collection spotlights the Native American history including courageous warriors, their families, and their culture. 

I love the excitement of taking everyday items and telling a story with them. Things from the past are painted to be remembered.

Every person has a story to tell. Every life has drama. Capturing a moment in their lives leaves much to the imagination about their circumstances and life. I try to capture a moment of joy, struggle or hardship.

America provides such an enormous variety of landscapes from the fall colors in the North East to the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I love working with all the colors God has given us in nature.
